Morris Museum Loan Program
(5th Grade Social Studies & Science)
The Museum Loan Program offers teachers the ability to borrow from this museum located in Morristown, NJ more than 1,400 portable boxed exhibits containing hands-on objects and interpretive materials. Artifacts, charts, literature and artwork are designed to be touched and shared by students. With this unique opportunity to enhance the exploration of our subject matter, the teachers are inspired to design innovative lessons. Authentic artifacts make science and history truly come to life, igniting critical thinking and the desire to investigate a subject in greater depth. Almost everything is accompanied by a corresponding document explaining its origin. Exhibits are displayed in classrooms for about two weeks at a time.
Grant Date: year-round
