Lenape Indian Presentation Assembly (3 rd)
This interactive and hands-on assembly teaches students about traditional Lenape foods, clothing and shelter. Archaeologist, John T. Kraft, presents numerous artifacts and describes their history. This offers an extension to our social studies curriculum by studying the past and present of Allendale, New Jersey, and how the Lenape life shaped the place in which we live today.
