Hillside Library – Idea Lab - The Bee Hive (PreK-3)

 

This new library area will create a centralized, flexible learning environment that is comprised of three main areas: library/media area, technology area and STEM/Makerspace area.  This new room will include flexible furniture, honeycomb area for read a-louds, beehive nook, new book shelving, bench seating, storage, a circulation area, access to to Smartboards, Chromebox devices, Lego Wall and so much more.   All of these elements together will allow us to host up to at least three classes in our new space.
