Grant Highlights 2014-2015

AFEE funded these grants during this past school year:

Brookside School

• Enhanced fitness studio with 10 spin bikes and yoga mats (6th-8th grades)
• Award-winning Law Adventure program
• Bulldog Bytes, a digital newspaper
• TREP$ student entrepreneurial program
• iPads for the foreign language classroom
• Several science assembly programs including: Science Circus, Flight, Space Dude and the Morris Museum loan program

Hillside School

• Theater Week
• Character-building programs like Aesop’s Fables
• David Adler author visit
• Colonial Life interactive theater
• Arrest of John Fell Reenactment
• A penguin visit
• Numerous science and geography assemblies and in-class “field-trips,” such as Earth Balloon, Sounds Like Fun, Weather or Not, Rainforest Butterflies, Birds of Prey, Lenape Indians
